2021 Hero Fight League

US Taekwondo Institute dominates the 2021 Hero Fight League
I wanted to do a quick post about last weekend’s tournament. It was a fantastic event for the team. The Black belts just killed it, and the colored belts, including the white ones, showed much growth!
There were so many stories from this day. The biggest one was that this was the first time I had gone to a tournament with any school (except for Jae Hun Kim’s 1993 Black Belt team) where every single black belt won their division. The only person without a fight was Michael. KK and Sammie had one because of byes, and all the others had two fights. Willy forced his first fighter to quit.
The team performed well, and everyone is starting to come out of their shell and show off the skills and training they have received. It’s amazing to think how well this team is performing in such a short time. I can’t imagine how they will be in a couple of years!
Here are the results from the Hero Fight League (displayed by rank):

Keep up the great work, and let’s not let up on our training. Remember, success breeds success, and if you keep breaking out of your comfort zone and trusting the process, you will continue to grow, and the entire world will be open to you.
