There were so many stories from this day. The biggest one was that this is the first time I have gone to a tournament, with any school (except for Jae Hun Kim’s 1993 Black belt team) where every single black belt won their division. The only person without a fight was Michael. KK and Sammie had one because of byes and all the others had two fights. Willy forced his first fighter to quit.
The team performed well and everyone is starting to come out of their shell and showing off the skills and training they have gone through. It’s amazing to think how well this team is performing in such a short time. I can’t imagine how they will be in a couple of years!
Keep up the great work and let’s not let up on our training. Remember, success breeds success and if you keep breaking out of your comfort zone and trust the process you will continue to grow and the entire world will be open to you.
