We took five athletes to the Puerto Rico G2 Open on April 3-4 and came back with three medals! We are super proud of their performance at such a high-level tournament.

Samantha Cruz: GOLD

Michael Cruz: GOLD

Katelyn Cruz: Bronze (lost to gold medalist who is also PR team A member)

Wilfredo Ortiz (Lost to Team A, 13x PR national team member)

Sidney Bennie (Lost to #3 ranked USA athlete)

Both Willie’s and Sidney’s fights were close and could’ve gone either way.  Both did extremely well and have learned a lot from the experience.

Thank you, Master Landrau Elvin, the Puerto Rico Taekwondo Federation, and all the international referees for putting together such a great event.  We can’t wait until next year!
